Kids Kountry Learning Center was established in April, 2000. We have always had an “Open Door” policy for parents and staff. Being a retired teacher from the Educational field, I saw the desperate need that children need to be respected, valued unique individuals. We wanted to show the parents that children learn by doing, with opportunities for choice, experimentation and problem-solving. Kids Kountry Learning Center children are provided a healthy and safe environment. Children at KKLC develop self-discipline through positive guidance. Our teachers are sensitive to each child’s needs and rate of development. Activities are designed to enhance self-esteem and positive feelings toward learning. Basic skills are provided through a variety of activities that are relevant to children’s lives. KKLC’s teachers recognize that they are the parent’s partner and the necessity of ongoing positive communication. KKLC teachers guide children in a predictable, yet flexible environment that allows for creativity.
We have developed a close bond with all children and parents over the years. Whether they are still attending or have left for personal reasons, we enjoy a special “drop in” from time to time to catch up on their lives. Kids Kountry Learning Center’s Staff are certified in Shaking Baby Syndrome, SIDS, CPR and First Aide and have to have twenty training hours a year. This is mandated by the State of Texas through Childcare Licensing. Kids Kountry Learning Center is all about the welfare of your children that we are graced with everyday.
